Overview
This module will review the recently discovered link between violence against humans and violence against animals. Studies of violent criminals who began their careers with animal abuse are discussed. The link between violence against animals and domestic violence is reviewed as well as reasons why this link is important to acknowledge.

By the end of this module, Animal Abuse Investigators will be able to:
     1. Understand the link between human and animal abuse.
     2. Identify similarities in animal and human abuse.
     3. Understand how animal abuse can lead to human abuse.
     4. Understand how identifying animal abuse can help prevent domestic violence.
     5. Understand why animal abuse and domestic violence professionals should work together.
