If the victim intends to remain in the relationship for the present, it
would be wise for them to develop a safety plan, which could be put into
effect should they find themselves in immediate danger in the future.
Information on safety planning can either be conveyed through distribution
of brochures on safety planning or you can help the victim formulate a
safety plan by discussing the situation with them. When discussing a safety
plan with a client be thorough and review all options. Below are topics
