what specific domestic violence resources are available to your client
locally and how effective and responsive they may be. |

education |
Provide
education to your client about the impact of domestic violence on
her as well as on children in the home. Provide education to the batterer.

Results of Assessment & Interventions |
Include
completed instruments in the client’s file as well as copies of safety
plans. You may also want to have a copy of any injunction the client
has obtained. |
| Follow-up
|
At
every visit reassess your client’s safety and client’s risk to others
if you are working with the batterer. Utilize appropriate community
resources. |
