The Florida Police Chiefs Association Helps Launch the National Prevention Toolkit

The Institute for Family Violence Studies has launched the National Prevention Toolkit on Officer-Involved Domestic Violence. The National Prevention Toolkit on Officer Involved Domestic Violence is a project of the Law Enforcement Families Partnership (LEFP). The Florida Police Chiefs Association was the first state-level criminal justice organization to join the LEFP back in 2008.

Below the Program Coordinator for the National Prevention Toolkit, Zachary Summerlin (left), and Institute for Family Violence Studies Director, Karen Oehme (right) present a plaque recognizing Amy Mercer (center), Executive Director of the Florida Police Chiefs Association, for her visionary leadership and commitment to preventing domestic violence in criminal justice families.

THANK YOU Amy for all of your hard work and helping to spread the word!
