The Leon County Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team recently concluded its first year of meetings. This team works to identify gaps and strategies to improve and increase interventions to protect victims and children, hold batterers accountable, and prevent domestic violence homicides in Leon County. One of the key outputs from the Team during 2012 was the development and printing of a Landlord Brochure. This handout provides landlords crucial information about helping tenants who may be victims of domestic violence.
